Friday Crush Tonight 7PM!

The Super Rioja begins with the crushing of the Tempranillo grapes tonight.

Be sure to dress in clothes that can stand a bit of grape sloshing. The workload is not too tough. If you want some background on what's going to happen, check out the video from the Bachuus web site.

As per RSWC tradition, bring some "heavy appetizer" bites to eat and something to slake the thirst of the workers. It is often said that it takes a lot of beer to make good wine, but bring what you feel like bringing, including water and soft drinks.

Lastly, we still need checks from some folks, so please remember to settle up if you haven't yet done so. $175 per case: initial case gets a split of Super Rioja and Cal Barolo. Additional cases after that your choice.

Hello all, with the onset of of the season, you've probably have been wondering about crush. Well, wonder no more...

It is now Super Rioja crush time! Harvest is always hectic and apologies for the short notice, but it looks like crush will be happening this Thursday or Friday the 15th at 7PM.
