Label Comp

Hello. Here's a low-res version of the proposed label for this year. Based on the racking schedule SNAFU for 3PM Super Bowl Sunday, the Super Bowl Tuscan idea won out 8-3, but there were other interesting ideas, namely Jeri Lynne & Mikes' "Tuscan Bowl" and Sundar's "Super Jove," with the explanation that "Sangiovese is a red wine grape variety originating in Italy whose name derives from sanguis Jovis, "the blood of Jove." It is not too late to change one's mind....

In any case, since we are dealing with a great-tasting Cal-Ital Super Tuscan blend (as the barrel-tasting attendees can attest to), I thought it appropriate to choose a Tuscan scene as a background, kinda just like the Mona Lisa.

If you want to suggest alternates, go to Gloria's label design website and look at the new designs and private cellar collections.
